Hanamaki Onsen Hotels and Ryokan: Where to Book

Hotel Koyokan is a convenient first choice in Yumoto, Hanamaki Onsen’s main resort area. Overnight guests can reserve a free station shuttle, then bathe in its open-air rock pool.

Yumoto and its springs

Yumoto’s four hotels stand together on the Dai River. Koyokan, Hotel Hanamaki and Senshukaku use clear, tasteless and odorless simple spring water. Kashoen has its own sodium sulfate–chloride spring. Each hotel has men’s and women’s public bathing areas. Day visitors pay to use one hotel’s baths.

All four hotels welcome children, generally restrict public-bath use by guests with tattoos, and run a free station shuttle by advance reservation. The room from-prices are for two adults sharing. Rooms and meal plans differ between hotels.
