Hosting, delivery and contact

The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, delivery and security. Cloudflare can process your IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent and related connection or security-log data to serve pages and protect the service. This supports the publisher’s legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure site. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains its processing and retention.

This site offers no visitor accounts, contact forms, newsletters or comments. If you send email, your address, message and any details you include are shared with the publisher and the email services involved in handling your enquiry.

Audience and partner measurement

Google Analytics 4 and GetYourGuide partner tracking load directly, without a cookie or consent banner. Measurement ID: G-Y5TJCW1LR8. Affiliate links work independently of these scripts.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions, including clicks on affiliate booking links. It can store _ga and _ga_… cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Each enabled measurement script is inserted once, asynchronously. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in understanding which travel information is useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site code disables Google signals and adds no Google Ads or remarketing destination.

You can block or remove analytics cookies in your browser, block the measurement scripts, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The publisher’s configured retention period for GA4 user- and event-level data is 14 months. Actual retention depends on the Google Analytics account setting. Google privacy policy.

GetYourGuide’s partner script can measure visits and referral clicks and use cookies to connect a visit with a later booking. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in understanding referrals and funding the guide (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Browser cookie and tracking controls can restrict it. Loading a script does not establish that a booking was attributed or a commission paid.

Affiliate booking links

Agoda hotel links and GetYourGuide activity links contain public referral identifiers and placement tags. Following a link sends the provider the requested URL, referral identifier and normal browser connection information; the provider may use cookies or other tracking to associate the referral with a booking. The site requests US-dollar pricing; the provider controls what it displays and the terms of any booking. Their own services are described in the Agoda privacy policy and GetYourGuide privacy policy. Map (OpenFreeMap)

Pages with a map load map styles, tiles, fonts and related resources from OpenFreeMap when the map scrolls into view. Those requests expose connection information such as your IP address, browser information and the map area requested. This serves the publisher’s legitimate interest in showing a working map of the places described (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Nothing about the map is stored in your browser. International processing and retention

Cloudflare and the booking providers operate internationally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Google receives measurement data only when GA4 is enabled. The linked provider notices describe their locations, retention practices and any transfer safeguards they apply. This notice does not confirm a particular account retention setting or overseas safeguard for the publisher.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data held about you;
• correct or delete it;
• restrict its processing;
• receive it in a portable format;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Send a request to contact@hanamakionsen.com; identify the request and provide only the information needed to handle it. For data held by a booking or measurement provider, its privacy policy gives its own contact route. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority, including an authority where you live or work; the EDPB authority directory lists EU/EEA contacts. Browser settings can block or remove cookies and stored site data.
